Overview
The overall design, look, and feel of the iPhone 12 is one of the many reasons why people choose to purchase such an expensive unit. Admittedly, this is what convinced us to finally trade in our last Apple phone. The 12’s flat edges and screen reminded us of the iPhone 4 and 5, which designs we truly loved. The beautiful color schemes are also a great touch. Problem is, most phone covers today tend to hide all these amazing traits of the iPhone 12 in exchange for the ultimate protection.
To address this, the company behind Arc Pulse designed a patented two-part phone accessory that will allow you to enjoy the design of your phone while providing you basic protection. Unlike most phone cases today, Arc Pulse is designed so you can show and experience your iPhone as it was intended to be.
Unfortunately, Arc Pulse is extremely expensive compared to other phone cases and bumpers. For instance, phone cases sold through the Apple Store have a starting price of only US$40. A popular bumper case, such as the RhinoShield for iPhone 12, also costs only US$25. Then there’s the Arc Pulse, which has a retail price of US$130 for the Aluminum and US$237 for the Titanium.
Features
Simplicity
Arc Pulse matches the iPhone 12’s simple and elegant design. Through its slide-on fit technology, this phone accessory can easily be added to your device without the extra width and depth. All of its components are tightly bonded together, so it will fit perfectly out of the box.
Protection
Arc is designed to provide you the most protection without compromising your phone’s original feel and design. It offers front, back, side, and camera protection. Furthermore, it features a dual-layer system, combining a hard shell for distributing shock and a soft inner layer to absorb impact. Thus, helping keep your phone safe.

Arc Pulse is available in two varieties: Titanium and Aluminum. Both are considered aerospace-grade and can distribute the shock of an impact across a surface. The Titanium Grade 5 is the more expensive version of the two. It has an impressive strength to weight ratio, is light, and highly resistant to corrosion. The cheaper version, which is the Aluminum 7075, is among the most resistant aluminum types available in the market.
Aesthetics
If you’re familiar with the Bezl Edge Protectors or Utomic Edge Protectors, you’ll already have an idea of what Arc Pulse looks like. But instead of four pieces, it only has two parts, which slide on top and the bottom of your phone. Like these Edge Protectors, Arc will not shroud your beautiful iPhone 12 in a bulky case. Instead, it covers the corners of your phone, raising it slightly and preventing the back or screen to touch any surface. Unfortunately, this only offers you basic protection and you can still expect scratches on the back or front.
Final Thoughts
One of the things we and probably every other Apple user love about the iPhone 12 models is their sleek and elegant design. This is the reason why we’re slowly getting into phone bumpers. In this regard, the Arc Pulse does an incredibly great job in helping you experience the iPhone 12 just as how it should be.
